    Today, what you've done.

I actually saw this thread at another message board (with a different title) and thought I would imitate that here because of what a wonderful idea it is. Share what you did or are doing.

Today I worked and now I'm going to write because I found free time and privacy. Got a great idea, the hardest part is protecting it. Writing is going to be a cinch, as usual.

So far I have awoken, covered my wife's legs with a blanket, poured myself a cup of room-temperature coffee (my preference), shot four or five spambots out of the sky, snickered contentedly to myself, and contemplated the scrambling of three eggs. Life is good.

Slept well in two bedrooms!! ( Shades of Stalin's routine)

Light breakfast. Weather superb, bright & sunny.

Walked into town for a coffee sitting outside watching the world go by.

Shopping for a sirloin steak for dinner to have with baby baked potatoes & a German Riesling.

In and out of Lit Net to p-ss off the ragged arsed illiterates.

Now on a gin & orange, Beethoven playing in the background.

    Salad Days.

I hope the baby and poor Herr Riesling manage to escape your canibalistic plans. Please M, steak and potatoes is enough. Not allowed to drink anymore, but I'll toast you with a little Beethoven. To life!

Today I came up with four great ideas that I am going to use. I tried Jujyfruits first time and let me say I will never try them again.

Today is the second day of the UK Bank Holiday, and supposed to be the hottest day of the year.

It call for noon imbibing of English ale at a 17th Century watering hole in Old Hatfield.

Might even throw in a Ploughman's lunch.

Arose in the dark. Quiet meditation/silent prayer in dawn. What will the day bring?

Now that I think of, that could almost pass a haiku.

    Arose in the dark.
A silent prayer as dawn came.
    What will the day bring?

Wrote a little, read a little, ran off four spambots in pitched battle. My word, it's been a good day!

Slept well, though aching from the gym workout yesterday.

    Blueberries with cereal & coffee.

81 degrees in house, even with curtains drawn.

African bath ( Standing up in bath tub and pouring water over body.)

Skirmish with bots. Let them retaliate with multiple ones, then bump the final one.

Cooked Hungarian Goulash (2.5 hrs to simmer the beef)

Getting cold in the mornings over here, though. Late summer and fall is my favorite time of year, though. It's funny to be an old man talking about the weather, but I'm happier with every beach day behind us. Dang, I remember those African baths. Goulash sounds good.
