Every detail written,
by two hands
upon fresh paper.
Unerasable letters flow into a work in progress,
a one-of-a-kind story,
their newest original manuscript.
Each hand grasps a corner
tries to tear a straight line
down the middle
between each word.
So each can have their own half
of a story
with jagged edges.
