TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS # 37
Twas the night before Christmas
And all along the Avenue
The Christmas lights are twinkling
For everyone to view
REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 21ST OF DECEMBER
Remember, Remember the 21st of December
St Thomas the apostle is about
Because that is the special day
When St Thomas is without a doubt
BREAKFAST TIME COMES, AGAIN
Breakfast time comes
Just after day breaks
When Santa’s little helpers
Eat their Frosted Flakes!
JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE
Christmas at the office
Is just like any other day
Let’s face of it
You end up doing all the work
And the fat guy in the suit
Gets all the credit
REINDEER TURN
Rudolph is doing stand up
At this year’s Christmas do
But between each gag he says
“This one will sleigh you”
THE CHRISTMAS PARTY IS OVER
The Christmas party is over
And so I guess
It’s now the time to wish you
A Happy Christmess
IT WAS CHRISTMAS DAY IN MY MUMS HOUSE
It was Christmas day in Mum’s house
And the table was laden with fare
And the love flowed like the wine
Oh how I wish I was back there
CHRISTMAS EVE AT THE HOSTELRY
The local hostelries are full
As they approach the brink
And raise their glasses high
For yet another festive drink
The season roundly toasted
Measured by each glasses chink
The next morning’s celebration
Will be a silent one I think
WANTED: SANTA”S LITTLE HELPER
It wasn’t efficiency
Santa wanted from his helper
He preferred them to be
A barker and a yelper
But then the vacancy was for
Santa’s slutty little helper
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS # 38
Twas the night before Christmas
And all round the Close
The Carol Singers perform
For the festive and the morose
