Hello everyone,
I studied a beautiful poem in school, and I can't find it now. Unfortunately, I only remember a few key ideas. It was a sad love poem from a man to a girl (or woman). It starts off with his being in love, perhaps the sun was always shining. He describes how life was wonderful. When she broke it off, he was devastated, and he contrasts the second half of the poem with the first. Either his heart or the sun was run over. I remember the name Jenny (but it wasn't the Jenny kissed me poem). I know it's not much to go on. I believe it was in modern English, so it wasn't an old poem (I studied it in 1995). Any ideas?
