    Question Help understanding when to use semi colon or colon

    After WW2, Joseph finished his studies at Columbia and Oxford(semi colon or colon here?) majoring in English.

    Do I place a semi colon or colon after "Oxford"?

    Could you explain the reasoning for your choice, THANKS!!!
