afraid of the dark
But that is where the shadows creep
and tear apart
the fabric of reality and dreams.
The shadows are everything but real

soft cloths of skin
wisps of hair
wetness of tears
blank expressionless stares
The fabric of reality and dreams
are torn apart
by shadows creeping in the night
And now you are left afraid of day and dark
weeping within shadows
out of sight
You have a brilliant turn of phrase. I’m guessing you don’t labour over your writing , it hasn’t got the feel of something over thought. I feel you wrote it without effort. I did of course enjoy reading it.
