Question Improve ebooks - fiction and non-fiction

Do you have any suggestions for how e-books can be made more interactive and enganging, to possibly encourage people to read fictional och non-fictional literature? Nowadays e-books are usually only digital conversions of physical books.

Thank you in advance for the answer!

"more interactive and enganging" Why? isn't reading meant to engage and inspire, ebooks are not games

Don't really quite get the question. I personally think it's a matter of taste to choose the old fashioned paper or read it digitally.

Maybe we should employ an army of special agents who monitor what you are reading and then subtly push you into having experiences that happen in that story.

In my humble opinion that’s completely wrong.
