Schadenfreude is the great pleasure derived
By someone, from another person's misfortune
Its ironic that the Germans have a word to express
My pleasure at them being knocked out so soon
(FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 - South Korea 2 Germany 0)

Now remember the end of WC-2014 and imagine how the Brazilians felt yesterday!
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "
Gerald Murnane, Tamarisk Row

I dit mention the word Freud seems to be in it too.

Thanks Cacian, its the little things in life that keep us going
Its not widely used, except in the media, but i like it.
We dont have an equivolent word in English that so encapsulates the feeling.
We have Gloat and Revel, but they are tame in comparison.
Thanks Danik
