    Cornflakes and caring

Like a dairy cow. All milk expressed
And drank and poured on cornflakes
    With electrodes to the brain
    Like a weed amidst marigolds
    Sucking goodness from the rain
A nettle sting with no dock leaf
    To anesthetise that pain
    An egg with no chicken
    Greasy finger licking. Like
A bull full of s hit
    Like you loved me
    Yes you did
    A little bit
    What on earth is true
    The dairy cow went moo.
    Before it died
    All dowey eyed
We care for those we know
    That’s the way it goe
    s.

    For those who believe,
    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

Really enjoyed this poem, Jerry. Love how you weave your words...

Thanks jerrybaldy, liked your poem, seems like I have competition in the poetic stakes, may the best man win.

    Warmest regards Michael.

Thanks Michael. I’m not the competitive type. You can have the win
