    I do not like you
    Or you or you
    I don't care what your kids did last weekend
    Or what you had for lunch
    Or how you felt exhausted
    After your Pilates,
    If your husband
    No longer gets it up
    I understand
    Why.
    I
    Don't care how you slept last night
    Or that this is the worse possible time
    For your latest issue.
    You are wearing a new jumper
    I comment on its radiance,
    This moment of recognition,
    Of your brilliance, will cheer you up,
    Right ?

    For those who believe,
    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.
