    In Elise Dinsmore, by M.Finley

Audio book- Part 4, Ch. 6. After Psalm read is quote byname sounding like "Tramps Abrama" ; ' 'Tis but the cruel artifice of fate thus to refine and vary on our woes to raiae us from despair and give us Hopes, only to plunge us in a gulf again and make us doubley reach-ed. ' 1st spelling for double -ey and retched? 2nd do I have Quoted Author right? Is it made up? Could it be 'Gramps?" Can't find anything on my first audio impression of name. I would like to reference this quote & need proprieties correct.
