How long before my story appears?

I submitted two stories a week ago. How long before they appear on the forum? Do the mods notify you if they will not be appear?

I cannot figure out what is going on with the inability to post a story... Have you tried Private Messaging Admin?

How long was the story? Did it include non-English words? Usually posts appear immediately.

Also you might want to ask yourself if you really want to publish your story here. If this is the first time it has been published, then an editor might not want it any more. If it has already been published and you want to give it more exposure, it makes sense to post the story here, but why not then under your real name?

I think my stories might be a bit too dark and weird. But I would have thought you would be notified if they failed.

They were very short and did not contain any non-English words. Do you think an editor would know if I posted a story here? Maybe you're right. I always publish under a false name. I don't want to be famous.
