An ungrateful race!
If I've ever seen an ungrateful race it would be the human race!
We are never satisfied with what god has given us ,we want more but never work towards it ,we want everything to be handed to us on a silver platter
I've noticed this happens a lot in school
Sad but true

Maybe
I have been reading over and over again that an attitude of gratitude is healthy. Many recommend that one writes down all the things one is grateful for and review the list daily, perhaps adding to it. Of course, I accept that one SHOULD do that exercise, but then I don't bother writing anything down. Yesterday, I started the list. At first I couldn't think of anything. Then I thought of all the people I knew and then all the books I've read that influenced the way I think. Then things that happened out of the blue that I might as well be grateful for because I didn't do that stuff, but benefited from them. The list got large quickly. Now, when I forget, I know where to look.

I dont work very hard. I dont
want very much.
desiring things and chasing after them, must be tiring, then working for more things, more stuff, more stuff.
