    Absence - Mercy - A few Poems.

Let me know what you think/feel about them.

    -Absence

I contend to you that a manner of expression,
includes within it the infinite potential of creativity.
This expression of absence I feel is quoting a higher domain.
From above downwards, from root to branch.
The feeling of absence comes as it should with no barrier besides
    my own self interest.
My aching hollow heart scorches the earth I walk upon.
Yet I have felt the keen opposite of this hollow.
I ask you, where is the root of this absence?
I strive in this endeavor for lack to not
leave a mark on the impalpable universal soul.
No matter what you have lost the root remains the same.
The force that governs war and hatred has a place in this world,
so that we may not remain idle.

    -An Angel's Repoise

    From this I emerge,
    into a place of lifelessness.
Despair comes upon those who doubt repentance.
From this I soar in an angels paradise.
    Kept locked beneath impending wrath.
I set you free in angels wing,
fly as to not let the dust settle, low
enough as not to be seen.
Coming from the fluidity of inner grace I call as a beckon of emergence.
    A potential so great.

    -Mercy

    The heart and the individual,
    co-existing and co-creating.
Between one another, nothing can hinder this process.
I am big and you are small.
    Truth and mercy.
If the balance isn’t struck, disorder descends.
    Therefore I say to you,
Whats mine is yours and whats yours is yours.
An aspect of my individuality touching yours,
    constituting only the bigger picture.

    -Simmering Hollow

    A golem swallowing me whole,
Just beyond the realm of feeling.
A place I dare not dwell.
For once consumed, all is forgotten.
A raging torrent of dispassionate voices, this reflection of what could have been.
There it comes again, floating just beyond sight,
A Most heavenly essence dictated only by its own will.
How can I come alive into a place that blossoms with life?
    Somewhere I can unburden myself.

    -A path of transformation

    Could you mention the point?
Of all my understandings you stand out.
A point in which infinity is pulled. Encumbered.
    Pushed aside as turmoils will.
Yet do my cries fall upon the homeless and lost?
    I ask you
Were it not for my past deeds, would there be a situation?
One goal to strive for, from uncertainty to clairvoyance.

The ideas of these verses and the constant interrogation go well with each other.
    There is no polite way
    of being happy

These seem to build upon one another and could almost build one very complex piece. Simmering Hollow would be the one that captivated my interest the most. The imagery it paints is both dark, and hopeful at the same time. Well done

Thanks for the feedback. I had not intended them to build upon one another but that is interesting.

    -Loneliness

I can’t say my heart knows the difference between
    being awake and being asleep.
I remain indifferent to the days that pass, these spliced images
    remain in fragments.
How could I come to recognize myself?
When all I see is a dissociated glance.
I always picture a brighter tomorrow, but that means today is darkened.
I’ll take whats mine when it is handed to me in the perfect moment.
Along with every opportunity comes threat,
    its close-minded opposite.
Once I see the birds fly, set free from loving hands,
will my timid heart come to see the light of day.

    -Contentment

The loving dashes on the trunk of a tree,
carved with such ineptitude as to leave it crying.
He sits with her staring into the unknown eyes of
    foreign contentment.
The once anxious man begins to calm into
    a free flowing river.
Not letting the second doubt cause any more
    harm than the first.
The man sits with the woman bewildered and
    beyond common conception.
    He asks,
When do I leave the past behind
and come with you into an enchanted future?
    She replies,
When not a sorrow touches your heart
and not a belief lay bare, will you be accepted as who you are.
