    Me and Jones a poem

    ME AND JONES
    Felixmichael Atwood

    Me and Jones were young together
    We worked the ranch and played hard
    My burr haircut and his long black hair
    The dinner bell rang for us at sunset

    At last twilight came for one of us
    Jones was the best friend I ever had
    I buried him with his collar loose
    And his tail set in a permanent wag.
