I know little about Ford Madox Ford. Even less about his long and heavy novel, that happens to be a tetralogy. I know, of course, that it is somehow related to World War I, and that it deals with the British society back then--but nothing else. Is it a good novel? Is it worth reading? Is it a masterpiece? Is Ford a good writer? Is he a good stylist? Does this novel mirror Proust's work? What do you think about it? Should I get it?
