This book consists on a compilation of articles, memos and studies elaborated by analysts, foreign affairs experts and academics about the Crimea conflict, in Ukraine. American, and european authors. It was intended to prove how the European Union and the United States are not taking seriously enough the russian threat to regional and world peace, and how the main powers of the Western World, like the USA, Germany and France are not supporting enough the ukranian democrats and liberals to oppose the russian invasion.

It's interesting to see how connected the world powers are, and dependent on each other at so many levels: the US don't want to take things to far in Ukraine because they need to negociate with Russia on the syrian issue, the germans are pressioned to solve the problem quickly because of the commercial relationships with Russia, countries like Poland are concerned about the energy supply made by Russia, so it's government is trying not to take part in the matter, and i could go on. In a globalized world, everything is connected at some point, but peace mantains uncertain.
