When Winston is being sworn into the Brotherhood why does he answer "yes" so quickly.
I feel that Winston answers "yes" so quickly because he is eager to become part of the "brotherhood" more than anything else. Ever since he first saw O'Brien he had a feeling that he too was against Big Brother, and he felt some sore of connection with him, and I also feel this contributes to his quick responses; hes waited so long for this and he is willing to do anything for O'Brien.
I believe that Winston agreed to the values, so to speak, so quickly because he wanted O'Brien to realize how dedicated he was to the Brotherhood. He wanted to show he would most definitely do anything for the Brotherhood. He was eager to show this because he wanted to be able to do his part as soon as possible.
