Happy birthday, stluke and a inspiring year!

Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday!
"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche
A belated Happy Birthday to Stlukes, an enduring inspiration and influence over his years here. He's also led me to discover a number of artists both literary and otherwise that I now thoroughly enjoy.
Vladimir: (sententious.) To every man his little cross. (He sighs.) Till he dies. (Afterthought.) And is forgotten.
A belated thanks to all who posted. I've been quite tied up this week.

Not so raucous as I had to work the next day. Besides, I spent the evening watching my beloved Cleveland Indians ultimately lose the World Series. Actually the final out didn't occur until November 3rd, so at least they didn't lose it on my birthday. Nevetheless... it was a brilliant game and a brilliant series.
