    lost it.

I've begun to lose my sanity
    My creativity is fading
Like the warmth of summer fading to a bitter fall chill
Like the innocence in the now becoming jaded youth
Like the zest when I look into your eyes
The love that was once so strong has slowly died
    And where was I?
Trapped inside my brain where nothing but rubbish and clutter consume me
    Too much information overload
When I feel sane, I am bored
    Always desperately craving more
Writing was once a gift I took for granted,
    It is slowly leaving me
As will every ounce of hope in my heart
I've begun to lose my sanity,
    And I am gone.

I hope you are well idontknow and get over whatever motivated this poem. Writing sometimes is a good way of becoming clear about ones feelings.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

I've been doing a lot of self-finding lately which has been nice. This is from a few months back when I was in a pretty dark place, but it's one of the most real pieces I've written and that's why I am so proud of it.
