They were showing Euro Cup soccer...sorry, football...on the TV at the diner just now while I was trying to stuff my face like a self-respecting American, and I feel I must now speak up: I don't give a crap about soccer!!!!! <cough> Thank you. I feel much better.

Sorry, guys! Germany was such a disappointment tonight... Lost their spark.

After the dramatic games of Thursday:

    Dieter: 70

    Scher: 100

    Mick: 80

    Hawk: 0

    Snow: 0

    Tomorrow:

    Italy v Sweden

    Czech Republic v Croatia

    Spain v Turkey

Snow and Hawk> You get another 100 at the start of next round!

Good God! I missed the game last night and went to bed early. Found out about this shocking result this morning. I have never cried so hard in my life before. ; -)

If snow or hawk want to borrow a few shells I am rolling in cash, and can see you are both good steady low risk types unlikely to blow it all - say 10 usuries each and pay me back (*) when the knockouts start. I'm all heart.

Thank you, Mick. That's very generous offer, but I lavishly put money on bets. Old habits die hard. ; -)
Looking forward to join you after this group stage. In the meantime I'll try to hang around to give moral support to you guys.
