    Mini Cat Jaws... redux

Because I wanted to post with pics I'm replying here instead of Dark Muse's blog... I recently went on vacation and upon my return, this sad case was on my doorstep...

... not sure what to do about her. She has a wonderful disposition, more like a needy dog than a stray cat. She just hangs out in the courtyard day and night, greets me when I come home from work, watches as I do yard work, is cautious around me but seems not to be afraid. I'm fighting with myself on whether to take her to the vet, see if she's reasonably healthy and it's worth it to get her additional medical attention. And perhaps take her in, give her a home.

She is a cute little kitty.

You could just put some food and water out for her.

I would have taken her in even though I have a cat.

I have some photos now of my new kitty. I posted them in my blog, but I figured I would post a couple of them here along with some pics of my older cat Strega.

She's a cutie, Iain Sparrow. What did you finally do with her?

Wait, Dark Muse, you have another new kitten? I thought I remembered Strega being a new kitten not to long ago? All the cats pictured are pretty; on the other hand, I don't think I've ever met a cat I didn't like.

It has been a bit of a while Strega is 3 years old now.

For the first time ever I am officially a "cat person".
She's mostly just malnourished, got her shots at the vet and put her on a special diet... named her too. Henceforth she will be called Daisy, on account she really ought to be pushing up daisies and not living in my house. I call her 'Daze' for short, though she seems like a smart kitty to me.

She's a pretty girl. I'm glad she found a home with you, and initiated you into The Feline Society. Keep us updated.

Thanks for taking her in. I'm sure you will be repaid a hundredfold by her devotion and the fascinatingly strange ways that each cat has for those who deign to call themselves their owner.
