    time

    why time fly?

    because
    it does not long
    wishing for a song
    to appear
    near
    which is slow
    and flung

    it is quick

    to learn
    from its wants
    is
    swift and strong
    and does not feel
    wrong

    exactly what
    life is about
    guilt free
    and consciously

    it may never try
but when it does it sigh
    it is just that

Nice poem. I liked the explanation in the third line. It was not what I expected and it threw my mind off just enough and then the rest of the poem flew by to the final stanza talking about life.

I like how your words flow smoothly like the ticking of a clock, and beautiful thoughts of passing time like a song.
