    a poem by jerrybaldy

    So barren
    The milky yolk of sunlight
    The sandcastle Queen
    Just kisses and smiles
    The beach runs scared
    For golden miles.

    So desperate
    The snuffed out heart
    This chilled and salty air
This silly f ucking soft boy
    Deep grey ocean stare.

    For those who believe,
    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

Unless I misunderstood, it is how a sad walker on the beach feels while thinking everyone else is having fun. I enjoyed it.

It seems to have been your Birthday (well, a while ago, didn't notice - Happy Birthday!)

Your poem is so quietly sad I feel like running there to the beach and stop the boy from making the next step toward the water...
Bleak, bleak... Schoenberg would have written for it a fascinating music.

Thank you and best as always.

Here is what has been plagiarized by Dorothy Hernandez. I posted this in 2015 as you can see

Well not only did "Dorothy" plagiarize, she mutilated your poem.

Thank you for straightening this out, YOUR poem was beautifully sad and very well written.
