    Empty as hell

Pour me a cup of that
The thing that’s made you the way you are
See I want to be that way
    The way you are
    And you know how
Pour me a cup of yourself
Give me a part of you
    I’m empty as hell
And you have more than enough to spare
So pour me a cup of something
    Anything
    I’m empty as hell.

It occurred to me that one can put "as hell" onto just about anything. Interesting poem and welcome. I guess emptiness is somewhat based on a comparison to those who happen to be around and seem more full.

that desperate search to belong, to be "filled". either because you were always empty or because something drained you... connect with this one on many levels. great job!
