    R.I.P. Robin Williams

Robin Williams, comedian, actor, icon, has apparently committed suicide. He made us laugh. He moved us, made us cry. Good night to the comedian with a thousand faces.

"The question, oh me! So sad, recurring..."

Very sad, though he was a man long at war with himself. A truly great actor - particularly, for me, his more serious and dramatic roles. Insomnia remains my favourite Nolan film, largely because of Williams' electrifying performance.
"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche

I can't imagine the true cost of his gift to the world and a single burning candle in my window seems almost mawkish or perhaps it should be morkish. Thank you anyway Robin x

He made so many great movies, Insomnia as mentioned before is one of the best movies I have seen, also One hour photo, not a popular movie but so good and he was really good in it, and disturbing. Also The Fisher King, that is one of my all time favourite movie, he was brilliant in it.

He is one of those actors my generation (and older) has been watching since childhood. I was just 8 or 9 watching his family movies like Jumanji and Mrs.Doubtfire and many more.

I recently watched many of them again with my son, trying to relive something through him.

    A great actor, R.I.P

The last movie I saw with Robin Williams in it was The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. I was surprised by the news.

    Pay tribute to Robin Willilams

We are saddened by the tragic death of Robin Williams, our favorite comedian and wish to create an online memorial of him so that people could pay tribute to him by giving virtual flowers and candles and donating to his favorite charity Comic Relief

Very diverse for a 'funny guy'.

He made (seemingly brainless) movies like "Flubber" and "Jumangi" and "Night at the Museum" with the same zeal as more thought provoking and serous movies like 'Good Will Hunting' and 'The Dead Poets Society'.

I would love to know his thought process when reviewing scripts for movies.

    Miss you.............

"Well, I've had a lot of people tell me they watched Old Dogs with their kids and had a good time." It didn't offend his sense of integrity? "No, it paid the bills. Sometimes you have to make a movie to make money." He didn't mistake them, he adds, for intelligent scripts: "You know what you're getting into, totally. You know they're going to make it goofy. And that's OK."
