I want to dive into the blackness of the night sky
And go twenty feet deep
Then get swallowed by a black hole
For the universe to keep.

I want to sit alone on a mountaintop
With my arms around my knees
And not think about anything at all
For as long as I please.

I want to lie on the banks of a spring
My cheeks warmed by the sun
And let the heaviness of summer noon
Make my mind and body numb.

I want to walk to the middle of the woods
And find a spot to rest
Then among the cries of the wild birds
Sink into the earth’s breast.
