The land of the Proto-Indo-Europeans, where else?
I would like to go there to find out where it was. That would settle a debatethat has been raging for more than a hundred years.

Another would be the land of the Etruscans, and early times in the land of the Basques would answer other questions. Spending several thousand years in the North Caucus region would be interesting. There are more language isolates there than in the rest of the world put together.

And where would you like to go, pray tell.

    I am already there!
Can't really say if I have a country of dream left anymore, but I would also like to visit India, Iran, Nepal and Hungary. Perhaps Turkey too, but that probably doesnt count seeing I have actually been there even if it meant only for a connecting flight for a couple of hours on airport!

I would like to visit Norway. My grandfather (mother's side) was born in America, but his last name is Norwegian, and he was always interested in Norway, and he and my grandmother visited Norway, and there's this picture of them sitting in a green grassy area, and there's this big green mountain behind them and it looks like a place that I would like to visit. Also, I had this dream one night that I lived in a little village with quaint little houses with all my family and there was a mill in the center of the village and the grain that was produced was free and you could just go get it. You had to figure out how to make your own bread with it, but the grain was free. And in my dream, that little village was Norway. So, I'd like to go to Norway. Not sure if that's how Norway actually is and if I just want to go to the Norway of my dreams or to the Norway as it actually is in my waking reality.

Hmmm..... very interesting, Pensy! A couple of verses from Akbar Allahabadi's poem came to my mind as I read your post.
