    Thank yOu!

I truly appreciate the overview of King Henry VI Part III. I am in a theatre class and though I have read the play, it had been a long time since I was familiar with it. I chose for a monologue the monologue in which Queen Margaret taunts York with the death of Rutland and eventually kills him. I was having a difficult time trying to sift through the play to find the material I needed. Thank you.

That is a chilling witch-like speech, as I recall, and then York follows with his heartrendering speech in response, describing her cruelty and inhumanity (study his speech since it describes her). She is some cold gal, taking pleasure in putting Rutland's blood-drenched shirt on his neck and face. She, as you know, gets her comeuppance, and Richard III later calls her "wrinkled witch" or a hag. She's basically lucky that the three brothers let her stay alive.
