Peace be on you.
Australia and New Zealand have two new mosques built by Ahmadiyya Muslims.
In two inaugural Friday Sermons, Ahmadiyya Muslim Khalifah has explained the responsibilities of believers with respect to mosques in the light of Holy Quran, chapter 7, verses 30, 32 and chapter 24, verses 37, 38, 39. The main points are:
1= The mosque reminds believers to do justice.
Justice with commandments of God. Believers should observe five obligatory Prayers, bring positive changes in themselves and pay rights of creation of God.
Justice with family. It requires that husband and wife should pay each others rights, respect spouse's blood relation, give good training to children by setting their own example.
Justice with society. Pay rights to creation of God. Offering Salaat makes true believers to pay rights of God’s creation.
2= Fixing attention towards God. The true virtue fixes our attention towards God.
3= Walk on the path of God with purity. Promised Messiah (a.s.) says that it is essential for acceptance of prayers that person should bring positive changes in him….Observe limits made by God.
4= The one who goes to mosque should be mindful of all trusts and covenants of God and also of all trusts of creation and covenant, to the best of one’s ability. Such people should populate the mosque and increase the standards of worship and they should take care of reverence of mosque……….Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said that those who come to mosque with pure intention of worship, Allah would be their host.…..A believer who is attentive to Allah from one Salaat to the other, he is like the one who protects the boundary.
5= Eating and drinking and worldly chores should be pure / permitted and with moderation and should not make one forget God and worship.
6= The mosques reminds that purpose of creation of human is to worship God. Offering prayers is obligatory and it should not be done only when one feel the need God’s help in troubles in affairs of life. Believers should pray in the easy and difficult times. Business and trade and industry can not pull the believer away from Prayers.
7= If one lives far from mosque, one should pray at their place. One can use mobile phone Azan (Call for Prayer) as reminder of the time of Prayer.
8= Mosque’s structure, dome and minaret has a spiritual-respect . It attracts outsiders. Believers should come and bring their children for Prayer and also bring friends for introduction of real Islam.
9= Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) brought the spiritual revolution in his companions. Some of them were wealthy businessmen who would do business in millions but their hearts were always attentive towards God and they would offer financial sacrifices. His ardent devotee Promised Messiah Mahdi (on whom be peace) has reminded that same spirit should be kindled
10= True believers take care of their deeds all along their lives for the sake of getting pleasure of God.
11= Struggle for earning and doing jobs do not deviate true believers from God.
12= True believers give precedence to faith over worldly matters, they seek pleasure of Allah.
13= They convey the divine message of paying rights to God and creation of God with zeal and mutual love so that world is peaceful.
