Peace be on you. Spreading peace-be-on-you in words and through deeds is required if one is a true Muslim. Once Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was asked, which Islam is good? He identified the base of true Islam as to feed (hungry) and to greet acquaintances and strangers as well with greetings of peace.(Reference: Bukhari)….....He also asked not to be jealous of each other; not to inflate prices; not to hate each other; not to turn your back on each other; not to make an offer while two parties are engaged in bargaining. He said: Be true servants of Allah by becoming brothers to one another. Muslims are brothers to (other) Muslims. One should not transgress against the other; he should not treat the other with disdain, nor should he forsake him. ‘Here dwells taqwa’ said the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) and he pointed to his chest three times. Then he said: It is enough to ruin one to disdain one’s brother Muslim. The blood, the property and the honour of a Muslim in sacred to another Muslim. (Ref: Muslim)

In these sayings, Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) is guiding Muslims to live peacefully with everyone, Muslim or Non-Muslim. He also guide about the expected attitudes for a Muslim society.

Any person, who is aware of on going world events, can check how the above basic teaching is being violated and the horrible effects have succumbed many Muslim countries.

According to Holy Quran, Islam requires, one should understand and believe that one is made to recognize God and to love Him and to seek His pleasure with obedience and one should use all one’s faculties in this endeavor, says the Ahmadiyya Muslim Promised Messiah and Mahdi (on whom be peace).

Protection, complete obedience, free from immorality….These are the root meanings of words ‘Islam and Muslim’. In other words, Islam means strong relation with God based on obedience and nice behavior with creation of God, according to Ahmadiyya Muslim Khalifah (May Allah help him).

There are more than seventy sects in existing Islam. Many religious clergies have issued religious verdicts (Fatwa) that call each other as ‘infidel’ based on little differences. Not, only verdicts are issued, but there is hate material which keep igniting the fire of division. These things are resulting in mayhem, murders, and opportunity for others to mock at Islam and Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).

Surprisingly, these clergies are divided on basic teaching and keep the Muslims divided but they all gather to pass religious verdicts against Ahmadiyya Muslims who believe that the Latter Days Promised Reformer has come to revive faith. These clergies, unknowingly, have proven a prophecy of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) which said that in latter days Muslims would split in seventy-three sects; all shall be in fire except one. His companions asked him who would be that one sect? He (p.b.u.h.) replied they shall be on path of mine and my companions. (Reference: Tirmizi)

Promised Reformer Messiah Mahdi (on whom be peace) explains that to be a true Muslim, one should dedicate one’s being, powers and desires for God; leave one’s egocentricity; follow God’s way; bring change in his life; remove the low-desires of self. When one does so, one becomes so pure that one becomes obedient to God and compassionate to God’s creation.

This Islam is Peace-Maker.
