When I was staying in a hostel and reading some older (meaning 5-10 years old) action fiction novels. And this was 7 years ago at this point, at that. But this is what I remember and where I need the help...
AS FAR AS I REMEMBER...
I was reading a Thomas Perry novel, either the Vanishing Act or the Face-Changers...and in the back was a blurb about a man who walks in on his wife cheating on him, and shoots her and her lover (specifies her lover being tan and on top) and then he walks out and is approached by somebody (i assume the devil) who offers to make it all go away for him.
Now it may not be the back of a Thomas Perry...and I can't remember what the author's name was...but the reason I'm asking you veteran readers if you recognize the book, because it's a plot line I've never come across. If there are similar books, please let me know.
