Is there any another significance to anointment in religi or apart. Myrrh comes to mind.
and should the anointer be anointed too?

Jesus on the other hand, was anointed because the Holy Spirit had come upon Him (Acts 10:38). Jesus was anointed with Power itself. God was pleased that Jesus should be His Son (Matthew 3:16) and Jesus was the anointed of God. When Jesus was born he was brought mhyrr so that presumably was his first anointment by one of the kings.
And then second anointment was Power itself. And then by an anonymous woman. If she was anonymous then why is she referred to as woman. Anonymous means the gender is not known.
Third anointment was to prepare Jesus to his burial.
That is three all together.
If Jesus was called the ''anointed one'' then what is the meaning of three anointment?

I was discussing anointment with a friend and came up with this idea:
To anointment is to smear the body with an oil bbased type of scent.
Then there is also the senses that are also involved in anoitment meaning one inhale the scent as it it he or she is being anointed.
So one is not only being oiled fromm the outside and also from the inside.
Is there any reference to internal anointment too?
I have not across it.

Yes I agree. How does one not know who is anointing Jesus. It like saying one deos not know who anointed the pope. Very important people have important known people around them to be looked after.
