    Cute poem

An anagram (not an acrostic) is rearranging letters such that one gets a new word or collection of words... https://examples.yourdictionary.com/...-examples.html

Here's a clever one from the link: "the Morse Code = here come dots"

In my case I take an entire poem and turn it into an alphabet soup and rearrange

You're right I was looking for the acrostic. I still have to try the anagram of a poem. It's much more difficult.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

I use a website that might help for anagrams... one needs to play with the settings a bit like "Max other words" to zero... https://futureboy.us/lookup/nph-anagram.pl

    An Anonymous Writer Named Blane

There once was a man who when writing
Would parse his words with lightning
    His prose caused shocks
    And his poetry thrown rocks
    Unhinging his readers into frenzying

Thanks!I'm going to try it out.

    A dramatic writer!

    A True Story
There once was a poet fine
who worked from nine to nine.
He sat all day long at his desk
    sighing and drinking beer.
The page stared back at him
    just white and clean.
    Then he had an idea
    He wrote as title
    "The Blank Page"
    The poem became very famous.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

An anagrammatic poem from a quote by Michael Kofi Esson (the title an anagram of his name):

"I was a dancer for like 12 years and I really think it gave me a sense of form and negative space,"

    men fool chia skies

    elves envy
    a tiger's eye
    nigh
    dandelion tears
    adapt of foams
    leak ink fire
    12 macaws race

Enjoyed text and structure, but still have to go into the anagram.
    The drop

    A drop
    pops
    down
    round
    brown.
    water clown
    it blops down
    onto
    the lawn
    and is gone.

Inspired by the poem "Pingo d`agua (Waterdrop)by Cassiano Ricardo
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

My Word Can poem from our Thursdays at Two poetry group a few weeks ago: lapidary, rare-volumes, scrounge, sicken, chance, crate, chimney, porch

    a little rain falls

    a chimney chuffed nearby showing
signs of life as she walked on
    cobblestones which shone like
lapidary work in the misty rain
on the way to visit a friend
who was sickened by loneliness and despair

    on the porch
rare volumes scrounged from her friend’s library
and put into crates to be taken away
    forever
    it was not by chance
    rather by necessity

    8 words is a lot!
Very interesting poem, because of its implied meaning. A clear division: signs of life in the first part of the poem contrasting with the tokens of illness, decay or even death in the second. What happened to the friend, that the books had to be taken away ( reminding me of my own library that had to be dismantled recently)?. Perhaps I would just change the title to a less explicit one.
"I seemed to have sensed also from an early age that some of my experiences as a reader would change me more as a person than would many an event in the world where I sat and read. "

Yes, 8 is a lot... one word, or hyphenated word) for each participant where everyone? was present Yes, I did think of your library in passing.

Title too telling, hmmm... going with a little rain falls

    re: I see!
The new title is much more subtle! Enjoyed.

    oneness

    be not confiddled
    leave your polychromatic outrage behind
    find solace and safety
in the seasonal that is nature
