    Oh!

    There once was an anonymous ducky
    That considered himself lucky
    He found a pond
    At the back of beyond
    In fair Kentucky.

    An Anonymous Man Named Terold

    Terold was a man who raised cats
    Gave each one of them colorful hats
    Each hat was a different style
    Which made everyone smile
    Though they all said that Terold was bats

    Hmp!

    There once was a cat
    who used to sleep on a mat
    and live on rat!
    She lived in the house of Math
    Who gave her a gorgeous hat.
    Math was as mad as a hatter
    And that was the end of the matter.

    I Had a Jolly Green Parrot Once

    I had a jolly green parrot once
    whom I thought was an utter dunce
    'cause all the day it would query
    my alexa app which I thought was quite eerie
    seems she's been a polymath for months

    There once was(and still is)
    An app voice called alexa.
    She solved many little problems
    and was always there(batteries vorking).
    But she didnīt win the football hexa!

    An Anonymous Man Named Cavall

    There once was a man who loved pinball
    When playing he'd zone out totally in thrall
    But the arcades went away
    And to this very day
    He pines away in a basement totally in withdrawal

    The anonymous ball

    There once was an anonymous ball
    It was round and all.
    It flied so high
    that It almost disappeared
    in the sky!

    2. Hoping dentist goes well
    3. Delightful football poem

    An Anonymous Footballer Named Rooney

    When Rooney played he never used his goll
    An NFL draftee hired for defense and punting withal
    His previous experience was as a striker in Glasgow, so
    His debut in the pros was a total fiasco
    Seems he couldn't resist heading an errant ball

    1. Me too! But Morroco has been the sensation of this World Cup.
    2. Dentist triumphantly took out an old stump of a root and condemned me to two days of mashed cold food.

    Container and contained

    of round horizons!

    An Anonymous Man named Timmo

    There once was a man who watched birds
    Who just couldn't come up with enough words
    When espying an archaeopteryx in flight
    You can imagine his fright

    Some of my Poetry at Two efforts for today:

    Soliloquy to My Younger Self

    I spoke to my younger self: “Life,
    make it magical; finding joy in what
    aligns with your sensibilities is
    glorious - yet aspire to greatness, it
    is vanity to have never failed - but
    never reaching your potential is a
    everlasting regret - else why dream?”

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Word Can Poem / words from 12/1/2022... I was ill/absent then but the group sent me the words (blues/official/bitter/pay)
    Once Upon a Christmas Dreary
    severance pay -
    officially laid off
    before Christmas day
    a bitter bluesy pill to quaff
    to make the matrix go away
    • Will post today's Word Can poem a bit later
    Soliloquy- How if the Younger Self answered?
    Once upon a Christmas dreary- The poem was not so clear to me as I donīt know what a severance pay in this case would be. Has someone lost the job?
    re: Once Upon a Christmas Dreary 30+ years ago this experience befell me; the severance pay being added to my last paycheck upon termination was comprised of $0.00 USD in addition to my current wages.
    Ah, to have received the council from myself...
    ripples in time...
    perchance to have received
    the council from myself
    from the future would have
    created a divergence of space
    and time; an experience I would
    not wish upon another
    re: It certainly was a great disappointment and at Christmas time!
    Enjoyed the poem...
    Revisiting the past
    What would you do
    if you could go back
    to the past?
    Change the color
    of your furniture,
    move to another house,
    another country?
    Dance the dances you didnīt dance?
    Open your ear to another music
    or transform the air you were breathing?
    Does revisiting the past
    yield me anything better
    than bad verses?
    Lol... fun musings
    An Anonymous Man Named Jean-Paol
    Jean-Paol was a racing beginner
    He dreamed of becoming a grand champion winner
    When he strapped in on the track
    He'd start eating a snack
    In case he got in an accident and missed dinner
