    lol ! Enjoyed

    rings

within untold worlds hidden gems -
here a rarer peace found by titan's
fearless flesh - test in Outshine fog

    Enjoyed!

    Just playing with both poems:

    Circles
    Rings

    Nature centres into balls,
    Within untold worlds hidden gems.
Scan the profile of the sphere,
    A new genesis were here.

    Very nice

Back later after a long nap (hopefully), and time to come up with something.

    An Anonymous Man Named Geordi

There once was a man who lived near a brook
Where he often would go to read a book
He read whilst standing on his head
Or so it was widely spread
Said otherwise the words came out all gobbledygook

    Loved the word "gobbledygook"

    Landscape

    A green meadow
    Mountains in the background.
A blue sky, some clouds and
    a gigantic sun.
    The sun has a face.
    It is winking.

    Enjoyed

Made an anagrammatic poem from your poem & title:

    candle spa

    taken again
    fascinating haiku
    balanced souls mused

    anecdotes housing your
    writings must beckon nigh
    made anew

Enjoyed your "candle spa". Your poems are sunnier. Is the cold getting better?

    Sunflower

    Proud gushes of yellow

Unique yet multiple in her petals.

She considers herself the sole queen of the garden

    The garden has many queens.

Thanx for asking... Cold/Flu nearing its end... still some congestion in the lungs, but much better than a week ago. Brain fog must be lifting.

    Enjoyed... Beautiful Sunflowers

    An Anonymous Man Named Mikal

There once was a man who liked soda pop
Who enjoyed every can or bottle to its very last drop
Once, walking at the beach he uplifted his head
To quench his thirst without looking ahead
Fell off the boardwalk and into the drink (belly flop)

    Lol! Poor Mikal

    The Puzzle

    First a piece
    Then a second
The third doesn´t fit at all.
    I sit in front of
    this gigantic puzzle.
    The pieces have a will
    on their own.
Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don´t.
And here I look at a half complete picture
wondering what it is telling me.

    A philosophy puzzle... enjoyed

round puzzles / an acrostic by
an imaginary poet whose name appears in the acrostic

the round puzzles are the best
about eight pieces total I attest
already assembled in a square box
when it arrives the whole family flocks
    disappears soon after it's blessed

    Taawd the Imaginary Anonymous Poet

Taawd was a poet from Twickenham
according to his imaginary stiff upper-lipped mum
he wrote several la da da dees and acrostics
as well as several celebrated death metal lyrics
his verses leaving most of his audiences numb

    to both last poems!

    The sonnet
    There once was a poet,
    he wrote a sonnet.
the sonnet traveled all the world
    until the poet got old.

So sad for the ephemeral fame

    musings on poetry 12/8/2022

poetry writing is a vanity fueled with fire -
an ephemeral flame too easily quenched
in life, let alone stand the winds of time

    Ai!

    Fame is a capricious creature!
That looks less at toil, more at glitter!
Lucky the poet, that does outwit her,
Reaching fame, in spite of Fame.

    Enjoyed... wise words

    An Anonymous Man Named Tre

Tre was a man who liked barbecue
So he thought he'd try his own hand at cooking it too
He prepped his grill with gas
(Too much) he then ignited the grill, then alas
As to Tre we bid him a fond adieu
