    Harry

    Harry, he's dead, bless him,
I think he was screwing my wife.
    Must get cat food,
meat like Harry, fishy like Edna.
    Must feed the fish.
    They hated cat food.
    Must cut my toe nails,
    they are slicing my socks.
    Missing Harry,
    he was like a brother,
think he was doing my sister.
    Must buy socks.
    Saw Harry yesterday,
    feeding the ducks.
    I like Harry.
    Fat dead c unt.
    Must buy bacon.

    For those who believe,
    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

Greetings, JB. I must say, I rather like this. The humour is a bit course, but then you are the Vox Pupli, aren't you? LOL! No, I really do like it. The only suggestion I would make is that putting it into two line stanzas would create a nice pause between the elements and give the leapfrog thoughts and asides more impact. I'd make the odd line at the end it's own stanza.

One can definitely see the thought connection between each line Jerry. A guy in a cardboard box here...

How hard it is to push something so vile out of our minds, to the point of denial. Engaging in other activities is certainly a distraction, still it keeps coming back. It's so real.

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.
