Which book would you suggest?

I am doing a piece of writing; only 1000 words, on a novel of my choice. It will be on a very short section of the novel, no more than 2 pages, so it needs to be rich in literary features and easy to discuss.

I am toying with the following three but need guidance on which would be best:

1) Handmaid's Tale
2) 1984
3) A Clockwork Orange

Any suggestions/advice?

Aside from the fact that it is the only good one on your list, it is the richest in "literary features" as you put it. You might be able to find a specific section of 1984 to pluck out and discuss in good detail, good luck with Handmaid's Tale if you choose it.
