Darkeness is down to you

Once I was in a tour of some cave and the guide told us he was going to turn out the lights so we could see total darkness. When he did that, space seemed to vanish. It was strange feeling. When you said "darkness is down to you", it reminded me of that experience.

Hi YesNo thank you for the ''brilliant'' story or shall I say the 'dark' story.
Very interesting read. I have never had this experience but I can imagine that blackness or darkness can I have that 'vaccum' feeling where things seem to just sink and everthing feels hollow.

Prodigiously metaphorical, and with the meaning morphed and layered. Yes light delineates life or else life is nonexistent physically and abstractly

A nice poem with a beautiful idea. Indeed it is up to us to find the light which burns within us. Without that light a dark void fills our life.
