I am interested in the following categories: Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, and lastly Modernist literary works. I do understand that this section of the forum is dedicated solely to literature, however philosophical works would very much be enjoyed and welcomed. Thank you for your time.

You do realize how vague your request is, right? Be more specific.
I wrote a poem on a leaf and it blew away...

Honestly I'm not looking for anything in particular, all that I want is to explore and deepen my knowledge. Therefore, I'm open to any suggestions that are willing to be given.

I'd take a look at the top novels/authors sticky posts. Tons of good recommendations there.

If you like the Classics....the Ancient Greek Tragedies. At least read Oedipus Rex.
    If you like the Renaissance....Shakespeare.
If you like Modernism...The Waste Land. If you like easy modernism, quite a few writers of the twenties and thirties are categorised under that. It's actually a pretty vague label covering everything from TS Eliot/Virginia Woolf to Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. Maybe read Lady Chatterley's Lover- not because it's the best but because it's quite controversial.

Thank you everyone for giving me your recommendations, and @fb0252: I will definitely check it out. I'm looking forward to seeing future recommendations.
