Bathing Beauty
~
No thought could contain her,
Her enormity not defined;
When she was brought to this life,
It was to fill a part of being sublime.
And if two eyes could at once meet,
Mine would be held inside a dream;
The day I could look up and see,
Ravishingly her looking over me.
For she had a radiance not unlike the sun,
And a wonderment unmatched by an eclipse;
As restless she was like a vessel tossed by the sea,
A lady who woke the moon as bathing beauty.
