While the groundhog slept
The idiots hatched a plan,
To wake the said groundhog
And grab him by the hand.
It was February the 2nd
Not a cloud in the sky,
But that didn't stop the fools
From stopping on by.
You don't have to be a genius
To know what happened next,
To the men with strange top-hats
And their unwilling groundhog guest.
However Phil would outsmart them all
This Phil was no doe doe,
He heard all the early commotion
And slipped out of another hole.
