Everybody else in this sweet thread - I am falling asleep and will still promise to get back to you real soon - hopefully tomorrow night to thank all of you individually. Hi Pensive, good friend. I thought I would start here on Litnet. I have been away from the computer ever since my birthday..well practically...mostly just checking email and weather. I though your last post so beautiful and at the time it did make me smile a lot. It was pretty enough to post again.

I am sorry to everyone for not further responding to this wonderful birthday thread. I honestly have not been feeling so well between allergies, aches and pains, IBS, IC, Sciatica (that's a big one! eekk) and stress. Things will get better one of these days.

Janine! Your back! Your alive! I'm glad your through the worst of it and that you, your mom, Brooke, are OK; in fact you seem to be thriving!

So here's my birthday wish for you:

May all your loved ones be held near and dear in your heart, in your days, in your arms, and may your days be filled with light and love, and dance and art and the trusting hand of your granddaughter.

This writing is so sweet and I do feel that way about my granddaughter. As a grandmother I feel I step forward into her generation when we walk together. It is like handing over the crown of life to one's offspring. By the way, Brooke loves dance and art and singing. I do, too. We are two peas in a pod!
