    lousy kids

People who says this book is boring or dumb are simply illiterate and don't understand. Excellent book if you know what's going on and can understand the metaphors<br>

One is not dumb if one is unable to comprehend. Illiterate people are not stupid; they simply cannot get it alone. Perhaps you might consider helping them understand, instead of condemning them to their own struggles.

Aw, Neverland1247...you're very sweet. And very right. And your smiley makes me happy! (Good on you for providing apparently much-needed definitions of "illiterate" and "dumb.")
    There's beauty in the breakdown...

hay bren if you are so smart why dont you say something in my thread above "A tale of two cities- New found interest". And yes i agree that many are unable to appreciate the complexity of the book, but many are not as interested in the book as you and i and so don't give it a chance. Also dickens dosn't give a uninterested reader a chance with his wordiness.

edit: WOW THIS IS A REALLY OLD THREAD!
