I'm just about finished with War and Peace and have found it to quite possibly be the best book I've ever read. I especially enjoy Tolstoy's takes on both Napoleon and Kutuzov. I was wondering what biographies on Napoleon would be worth taking a look at and if any of them share the same view on him as Tolstoy did. I'd also be interested in books on just the invasion of Russia.

I really don't know that much about Napoleon but from just some brief searches on the internet, it seems many still regard Napoleon as a military genius; is this what the academic community believes today? I felt Tolstoy makes a good case that he shouldn't be thought of in such high regard and he really makes you like Kutuzov much more as a general and as a person. Which historical books share Tolstoy's views?
