    thanks. god, i thought i was doing something rubbish. why didnt i stop myself from a disgrace?

    anyways, i am pleased that someone actually stopped by to correct me. real sweet of you. this was the third short story i have written. i still have a lot to learn.

    perhaps i should just stick to reading on my nook.

    Not a disgrace by any means - there's a lot of stuff on here that's nowhere near as good as your piece. It just needs a little more work on the first 1/2. I'll remove my earlier post to avoid you any further embarrassment. Don't give up on writing - but the more you read the better you'll become. Good luck.
