I find that my newfound ability to create something daily through my writing (poems specifically) gives me a sense of accomplishment I doubt I would even find from work.

I suppose the things that give me the most satisfaction in life are ganja, gambling, literature...
So does literature make all other satisfactions seem like "breakfast", and take away the need for them?

I'm happy that no one here mentions " my children", or " my family"....
Also always funny to see people feel satisfation in life by getting attention from a woman, but well...

My personal satisfactions are when I write for my research project, when I read and when I publish.

I did not say 'attention from women' makes me happy - only because it's not popular to say so.....and only that reason.

    First thing I thought?

My OCD compulsions! Haha it's a sadsad life, isn't it?

No, but really: hoovering (alright, but only that one's part of the OCD!), the smell of certain books, walking through deep puddles in wellington boots and the feeling that you are absolutely doing the right thing.

Sitting in the garden, enjoying the sunshine and a glass of chilled Chablis whilst talking to my cat.

Also, falling asleep when watching the cult B picture series of 'Scotland Yard'.
