Hello everyone,

I happen to have sufficient qualifications and consequently am thinking of looking for work as a research assistant to professors of Russian literature in North American universities. However, I am wondering whether such a job would be intellectually engaging. A research assistanship in medieval Russian linguistics, which I was once offered, turned out to be less intellectually engaging than most forms of unskilled labour. So if you happen to know what it's like to be a research assistant in Russian literature in a North American university, please post. I will be very greatful. Thanks.
