Smile Romeo and Juliet & (opening scenes of) King Lear - CONFLICT

We have to write a 2000 word essay on Romeo and Juliet and King Lear....

EXPLORE THE WAYS IN WHICH CONFLICT BETWEEN AND WITHIN FAMILIES IS PRESENTED IN ROMEO AND JULIET AND THE OPENING SCENES OF KING LEAR.

I need some help; I know about the Cordelia/Goneril/Regan conflict, but it needs some explaining and comparison between R+J, as does the banishment of Cordelia. Are there any other points? I need to do some 'close analysis' of words and their position in the text, and also explore the cultural and historical context (such as how marriages between aristocratic families in the Elizabethan ages were politically motivated, and how the mother was usually sidelined, as were the formal duties with aristocratic families suppressed any family loving relationships).

    THANKS TO ANYONE WHO HELPS!!!
