No, I don't. Do I have to send a sample summary before getting access? And if so, should it be a full text summary or that of just a few sample chapters?
    I'm nobody, who are you?
    Are you nobody too?
    There's a pair of us, don't tell!
    They'd banish us, you know!

    How dreary to be somebody!

I've been busy lately and haven't contributed to my story threads. However, I have been reading the books and writing hard copies of the summaries. I still lay claim to my books, and I will start posting soon.

I'd like to take Moby Dick. I don't believe it's been claimed.

@Admin, I need access to the writer's lounge as well.

Whew! What a long haul summerizing a Dickens' novel is! Anyway I'm done with _Pickwick Papers_ and will be moving on to _Bleakhouse_, which is possibly Dickens' most critically acclaimed novel.

I'm not sure exactly when, but I'll get back to Bleak House.

I just wanted to say that I am still working on my books--but I'm not always posting. At the moment, I'm half dead most of the time because I'm repainting my mom's car.

Moving on, I'll be next summarizing David Copperfield.

And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

“One swallow does not make a summer,
    neither does one fine day;
one day of happiness does not make a person happy.” Aristotle

"Now is the winter of my discontent turned glorious summer by this sun at York….." Shakespeare, Richard the 3rd.

Personally, my preference is for wintery or autumnal writing -- but to each his own.

I am nearly done posting my summaries for the works I chose. Actually, Little Dorrit and Pride and Prejudice are done. I still have to finish posting Poe. Then, of course, I will have to do the quizzes for Dorrit and Poe.

However, I am going to claim Sense and Sensibility and Huckleberry Finn now. I also plan to do something by Oscar Wilde, but I am awaiting an answer from Admin before I claim anything there.

@Admin, I appreciate your patience. I'm sorry if I'm a little , but I want to make sure you are paying money for things you actually want--and I'm not wasting my time which could be better put to use on another project that is more desired.

Okay, I am claiming the following titles:

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
    Emma by Jane Austen
The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
    Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
    Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

Normally, I wouldn't claim more than three. However, to get free shipping, I had to order two extra books. Though I could benefit by reading them, since I paid money for them, I want to make sure they are mine. Sorry if I'm being a book , but there is still plenty to go around. And I think I have proven that I see projects through.

@Admin--when you get the chance, tell me about whether you want Dorian Gray and Canterville Ghost summarized. Again, sorry if I'm being persnickety about terminology. I would normally assume that you want them done if you include them in the list...but I've become wary of assumptions.

    Hello Chris,
I am new to this forum and a passionate and knowledgeable lover of Dickens writing. I am interested in doing some summaries, if you still have the requirement. Obviously it will take some time for a major novel but it would be a labour of love. I have a literature B.A. and Philosophy M. Phil - a good time ago!

I am reading Dombey and Son for the fourth time currently, and though it is a huge novel I will be glad to siummarise it. I work on software full time so it would take me some time to complete!
Let me know if it is spoken for, I would be glad to do Little Dorrit, Bleak House, David Copperfield and Martin Chuzzlewit if you are happy with my efforts
    Thanks

    Peter

I've already done Little Dorrit and Martin Chuzzlewit. My2Cents is doing David Copperfield. Admin is now more interested in other works. If you scroll up, he has made a new list. However, tedious as it might be, please read what has been claimed. I've claimed five works of the new list. Also, it is best to ask Admin before officially claiming something--as sometimes he changes his mind.
